Why free? Because the quoting itself costs us very little. Our AI does the work in seconds, the licensed tradie reviews in fifteen minutes, and our marginal cost per quote is under $4. We can subsidise that out of the booked-job fees, and the result is a service we're confident in showing to anyone, anywhere.

If you accept a quote and book the job, the platform fee is 8% of the total job value. This is the only money we make. The fee is added on top of the quoted price — when you accept a $10,000 kitchen quote, your actual cost is $10,800, and you see this clearly before you confirm.
The 8% covers: AI infrastructure costs, licensed-tradie review time, secure payment processing, workmanship warranty backing, and a small margin to keep the business running. We don't have hidden marketing budgets baked in, no third-party broker layer taking another slice. Every dollar of work is paid to the tradie doing the work; the platform fee is what you pay us, separately.

Most builders' margins on residential work sit at 15–25%. Most labour-hire and broker platforms charge tradies 15–25% to be on them, which the tradies pass back to you. Our 8% on the customer side, with no fee on the tradie side, is competitive with both — and the speed/transparency is what most homeowners are paying for.
